Your Next Course After Advanced Open Water: Rescue Diver with Dace Lawrence
You can start your course this winter! Rescue Diver consists of 2 classroom sessions, Saturday, March 7, 2020 and Saturday, April 4, 2020, with the pool training and Open Water dives being held May 23rd.
Graduates tell us this is the most fun of all the courses, while remaining challenging and rewarding. It expands on what you have already learned to prevent and manage problems during your Open Water and Advanced Open Water.
One of the prerequisites is a current first aid certificate (within the past 2 years). We will be running an EFR Fist Aid course (with an option for Emergency Oxygen Provider for the cost of certification - $75.00+hst) February 22nd.
You can sign up for EFR by clicking here

Conservation, the environment, and specifically the Global Warming Crisis, have been hot conversation topics this year. As divers, we see first-hand the effects of pollution and global warming. We continue improving our store and work hard to further reduce our waste and carbon footprint. We are proud to be a PADI Green Star Award dive centre. With your help we can continue to improve and better ourselves, our community and our world. Share how you make a difference or ways other businesses have improved themselves with us at email@example.com!
We are also a 100% AWARE Partner - every certification card that we issue is now an AWARE card. Tri-City Scuba donates $10.00 to Project AWARE for EACH certification we process.

Question: How do you travel with your gear? I’m just an Open Water Diver. Last time I travelled with my stuff I took my BCD, regulator and mask in my checked bag. Can you take anything in your carry on? - N
Your questions answered...
Answer: Hi, you should always check with your airline. Another tip is to buy a luggage scale to check your within weight requirements. We have a video (link below) that you can watch for how we recommend packing your gear. You can also come into the shop for a more personal recommendation. Hope this helps, Drew.
