What got you started in diving?

Working as a lifeguard in my youth I always enjoyed the water in 85 I became certified as a diver in Tobermory the following year I completed my Advanced Open water certifying on a snowy fall day in Waitron.

What keeps you exited about diving?

In 2010 I rekindled my passion for diving, with a SCUBA review and then heading out with others for some much needed practice. Form there I tried to get out as often as I can, realizing that to get out more often I would need my own gear I made the leap and have never looked back, I then went on to complete several specialty courses Dry suit diver in increase the length of the dive season, Wreck Diver learning how to safely penetrate inside a wrecks, Boat diver learning what the real name for the pointy end of a ship is called and not getting the galley and the head mixed up.

What is your favorite type of diving?

All of it! The best part of this hobby is that you never stop learning; some of my best dives are when I’m scootering around looking for new stuff.
